Within SuM, Supplier Management, I am the primarily interfaces with the Development & Engineering organization. I have a good understanding of the engineering of mechanical parts and their manufacturing processes in order to create price analysis with the aim to effectively reduce associated costs of manufacturing. Some of the my responsibilities: • participate in defining the commercial strategy, according to Tetra Pak's future business needs; • lead technical negotiation based on internal Should Cost with suppliers;• lead and support all Technical Cost Reduction Activities related to the assigned equipment;• drive supplier identification & selection according to new technology and product requirements, identify manufacturing & technology Supplier• Capability and coordinate within the other SM departments the sourcing activities in new development projects; • Support drawn part sourcing strategy securing the right balance between quality, supplier capability and cost; • lead the component supplier nomination, based on rigorous match of quality/right technical cost/manufacturing & technological capability of the supplier;• participate in special Projects and implement new Processes within SM; report results according to defined instructions and procedures.

In charge of leading the overall production cycle while ensuring the achievement of product quality and on-time shipping objectives. Main duties:• Managing relationships with global client companies, performing technical audits, defining requirements and technical offers• Setting up operating flows and weekly workloads. Monitoring progress as a referent point for operating/technical issues• Attending regular steering committees and forecasting budgets related to machinery and software innovations. Choosing the best financing opportunities• Scouting suppliers and managing contract negotiations• Leading staffing operations according to production needs. Setting up working hours and operating shifts for the workforce• Setting up average hourly cost for both men and machines. • Direct production management: scheduling the weekly workload of the machine shop with allocation of the internal recourses and capacity on all manufacturing departments (5 axis milling machines, turning lathes, grinding machines, deburring and hand finishing, final inspection)• Direct material purchasing management: purchasing of raw materials, prototypes, spare parts and external mechanical and treatment operations (heat, coating, surface finishing)

• Providing guidance for all technical members. Designing, implementing and updating part programs for machine tools• Gathering requirement from client companies.
