- Primarily write for a weekly student feature series, "Faces of Midland".- Identify, organize, and conduct interviews for student features.- Write various pieces of content for Midland's website and alumni magazine.- Assist in editing staff material.- Photograph campus events and/or ceremonies.

- Coach students through the writing process, regardless of the stage (outlining versus final draft).- Employ a variety of teaching strategies to reach different learners.- Workshop student writing to fit their target medium, form, and field (traditional essay inquiry, research analysis, conducted study, creative writing, business writing, etc.)- Foster meaningful relationships and learning environment in order to conduct safe sessions with clients.
