Business Analyst Manager working on project Future at ASDA.This is a company wide project to separate ASDA from the Walmart IT Infrastructure and Applications. Over 700 applications are being replaced with new infrastructure and applications over a multi year project.I am working in the supply tower, leading the BA’s in ways of working and liaising across the towers (commercial, finance etc.) and projects. I am primarily working on SAP integration with WMS (Manhattan Active) systems. I am also the lead BA responsible for the update of a fully automated depot.

This required creating process documents to create AS-IS and TO-BE documents to confirm which parts of the system to integrate with their current systems. Working on site with in-house IT staff and project managing the change through the project phase to completion.Projects:- Implementation of an updated TMS (Transport Management System) including integration with many in-house and 3rd party systems. Including:- 3rd party Route Planning system to improve efficiency of the groups’ fleet.- 3rd party Journey Management system to improve the safety, driver and vehicle monitoring and customer service.- Leading the team to create a new business change process within the IT function. The company has experienced massive growth in recent years and the current IT BA function and Change process require updating.

Sole Business Analyst and main liaison between IT and the veterinary department on developments and improvements of the business critical hospital management systems.Responsibilities and experience as below: • Lead a small team of SQL Developers and Application Support staff to support the critical practice management system.• Business process analysis and modelling to produce specification documentation including process models, case models etc. for use by internal and external development teams.• Requirements analysis and cataloguing with stakeholders of all levels.• Project Managing the replacement of the Practice Management System used nationwide at our hospitals. This includes: o Business Process Analysis o RAID documentation including Risk Analysis, Project Plans o Meeting facilitation, including regular project team meetings and director steering group meetings• Managing business change, both remote site and Head Office support functions.• Integration with other systems both internal and external.• Working with the Finance Business Managers to ensure hospital financial information is transferred to the internal Business Intelligence and financial systems.• Manage UAT testing including testing plans and running sessions• Data Migration planning and completion.• Liaising with 3rd party development teams, experienced in different project methodologies including Agile and Waterfall.• Working in special project teams within the PDSA, including cross-departmental groups and also with external consultants and universities.Below is an example of a previous project:• Project Managed implementation of a hosted Digital Phone system across the PDSA estate. This includes 51 hospitals, 1500 staff, a number of regional offices and head office. This is a £1.4 million pound project which was completed on budget and included user workshops, training and technical specification details.

Marton Associates were a software and hardware support provider. They supplied and supported full hardware and software solutions including SAGE Accounting Software. Their clients were based around the Midlands and Wales.Providing training and support on Sage Accounting Products and also Microsoft Products.I provided the support both through customer site visits and via telephone.

I started at BAC in accounts but then progressed into IT. I was solely responsible for the IT at BAC including the infrastructure, contact management and accounting systems. BAC had engineers worldwide that I had to support.After a restructure within the BAC group I also became responsible for the IT at BAC’s sister company Metalock. I shared my time between the two sites.
