As the Head of Unit – Quality Assurance, Resource Mobilization, and Accountability (QARMA) – I have, together with a fantastic team, the responsibility of ensuring the capacity of the Swedish Red Cross’ international department, as well as ensuring the quality through monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning (MEAL). This also includes strengthening the international department's decision making and cooperation processes.The unit consists of resource mobilization advisors with a focus on collaboration with large donors such as Sida, EU institutions, and foundations, and it consists of MEAL advisors, program responsibles, and field support officers.
