About Christian Hocking

MSci Physical Oceanography Graduate from Bangor University with keen interests in, environmental management, geotechnics, acoustics, hydrodynamics, sedimentology and numerical modelling.Currently working full time in Devon after a well earned year of post study travelling cut short due to COVID-19.Studying at Bangor gave me the opportunity to really experience taught subject matter in the surrounding environment; coupled with the incredible data collection opportunities such as extended use of the RV Prince Madog and hydrodynamics laboratory. This has cemented my life long obsession with the marine environment.Something synonymous with all positions I've held is my existentially driven work ethic and sheer will to succeed. I love acquiring new skills and have a serious passion for learning in general.Outside of work you can usually find me immersed in various projects, making music, surfing, sailing and road cycling!
