It is a pleasure to introduce myself, I'm Christian Lapointe, the IT director at L. Fournier et Fils Inc.I started as a helpdesk technician for an internet service provider and ended up as the supervisor of the IT department, ensuring service quality for over 8000 residential clients and around 300 commercial clients. Ensuring customer satisfaction and sharing my knowledge with the support team were top priorities for me. At the same time, I oversaw the inventory management and acquisition, working with provider like D&H and IngramMicro. I also worked with new technology development and helped the business expand its operation from cable internet provider to rural wireless internet provider and acting as an MSP for enterprise grade customer instead of stopping at the customer router.I then spent 3 years as a senior IT technician at Cablevision du Nord, a division of Bell Canada, to enhance my knowledge and understanding of the senior technician role where your action can affect over 100 000 customers. This allowed me to better understand the challenges faced by those in such roles and to guide them more effectively. For almost 4 years now, I have been acting as an IT director, leveraging the skills acquired in my previous roles. I directly oversee the senior technician team and the helpdesk coordinator. Together, we ensure the company's IT sustainability and excellent service quality. I am also one of the founding members of the company's continuous improvement team.My greatest strength lies in my leadership, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. I enjoy learning and adapt easily to new situations. I’m easy to talk to and enjoy working with customers to assess their needs and satisfaction.
