The project included the demolition of an existing building, restoration of existing heritage building and the construction of 9 new Townhouses on the site. The construction side of the work has enabled me to expand my existing skill base in ground up construction, as well as taking on a larger construct amount at $5 Million. Working independently and with various subcontractors, we are striving to successfully deliver the project in a time and cost-effective manner.On the other side of project delivery, I have also had the opportunity to develop my client-side PM skills through the ongoing management and planning of the project. This included dealings with planning and approvals through council, heritage and environmental requirements and ensuring the design intent was kept throughout the ongoing changes to the project as required.
