Marist College graduate seeking opportunity in sports media or communications. Experience in reporting, production, social media and more. As a four-year student-athlete, I learned how to collaborate with others in order to achieve a greater common goal. During this time, I learned how to preserve through numerous obstacles that were put in front of me. I also completed multiple internships during my time in school. The most notable was my internship with the Marist College Athletic Department. During this internship, I was provided the opportunity to work on a variety of skills. First, I collected data for school-affiliated social media pages. I was tasked with observing trends, and recommending improvements that could be made in order to boost engagement. I also assisted in game day operations for multiple Division-I teams. I worked cameras for some basketball games, and wrote multiple game previews and recaps. This internship allowed me to taste test numerous flavors of the sports industry. I also did an internship with Moving Forward Connections. This small Westchester-based PR company provided me with the opportunity to learn more about client relations, social media marketing strategies, and public relations strategy. Through my coursework, I was able to cover multiple games. I reported on multiple Marist College sporting events, and was blessed with an opportunity to cover an NYCFC MLS match against Atlanta United at Yankee Stadium. I also learned how to use Adobe Suite. The experience I have gained over the course of the last four years has me ready to contribute to any organization that will give me the opportunity.
