Financial professional with over a decade of experience in distressed and alternative private equity investments and board-level management oversight. Private equity career began in 2004 at Wayzata Investment Partners, a Wayzata, Minnesota based $8 billion alternative private equity manager. Actively involved with all phases of multiple transaction types (including credit securities trades, direct lending, restructurings, sale-leasebacks, and sale/merger agreements) representing over $2 billion of invested capital across several different industries (including aircraft, airline, industrial manufacturing, oil & gas, consumer products, and food and beverage) in a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment. Responsible for identifying new opportunities, performing company and industry analysis, financial modeling, valuation, due diligence, negotiation, and internal and external reporting. Experience includes direct responsibilities with portfolio companies including board-level oversight of management of restructured private companies. Education includes a B.A. in Economics from the University of Washington and an M.B.A. in Finance from the Carlson School at the University of Minnesota.
