When I was younger, I felt that everyone knew what they wanted to be when they grew up... except for me. I have since come to find that I am not alone in this! Whether you’re 7 or 77, with the right mindset I believe you can grow and flourish in many different working environments and can enjoy the journey of continuous learning, personal improvement, and agile adaptation that comes with the lifelong pursuit of discovering and defining what you want to be when you “grow up”. Here are some of the key qualities, skills and interests that are at the core of what I seek to bring to any workplace:+ [Quality Mindset] I maintain a strong passion for protecting and improving quality by reducing risk, improving reporting, refining and developing automated solutions, increasing personal and team knowledge/expertise, and creating/maintaining worthwhile documentation. + [Leadership & Training] I’ve enjoyed personally training multiple engineers, serving as a worldwide network lead/subject matter expert, and leading the creation of a focus team to help facilitate prioritization and communication with internal customers.+ [Communication & Collaboration] Cross-functional teamwork has consistently been a key feature in my work experience and I’ve continually refined my ability to communicate and adapt complex topics in understandable ways.+ [Computational Thinking] A significant portion of my work experience centers on troubleshooting, debugging, enhancing, designing, testing, and verifying highly complex logic flows that interact with multiple systems and span many functions in order to automate, improve, and maintain advanced process control systems. I have worked on additional scripts that automate tasks/reports and have experience with many tools and programs including: Python, SQL, HTML, JMP/JSL, Regex, XML, Tableau, MATLAB, Git, Machine Learning , APC Software, and MS Office Suite. + [Detail Oriented] I seek to understand the “why” beneath the surface of issues, find connections between concepts and details at multiple levels, and work to piece them together to solve problems, find root cause, and explain stories.+ [Problem Solving] I strive to fully define a problem first and then determine the best course of action to balance constraints and achieve a desired outcome by creatively using existing or novel solutions. + [Continuous Learning] I am a proficient learner and quickly pick up new skills and concepts.
