In my role at Vandewiele Group, I focus on enhancing the mechatronics division through strategic business development for Eutron and Roj. My goal is to identify market opportunities, forge partnerships, and drive innovative solutions that deliver value and foster growth.

I lead the design and engineering departments of the Milan design center of Flex, a world class excellence center able to scale up highly complex and reliable medical products from scratch.Flex Health Solutions provides expertise across industries and emerging technologies while partnering with our customers to innovate, design, and build intelligent products in a connected world. FAE Technology was born to take the activities of FAE and FAE++ to the next level. ● I managed the whole company’s technological strategy, which means both HW and SW engineering units, and the R&D team which is located at the local innovation hub “KMROSSO”.● I developed, together with STMicroelectronics, the SensorTile.box and I was listed as inventor in the patent number 19220225.7-1010.● As CTO, I have also launched prestigious collaborations, like the one with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in which we collaborated on a project of Environmental control. ● With the mindset to serve the community, we launched collaborations with the University of Bergamo and four technical high schools.

RushUp was the company responsible for the go-to-market process of the “Product Accelerator” devices born from the FAE++ projects and thanks to the strategic collaboration with Samsung and STMicroelectronics for the IoT revolution. I was coordinating both companies and here I was managing the employees. The hierarchy was extremely flat and we exploited a big part of the infrastructure of FAE++/FAE.

I joined a small family business (FAE) and took it to the next level helping significantly to grow the revenues with my activities in FAE++. Initially, I run the entire business and I was in charge of project management, sales, design, and customer service.● My value proposition was, based on the previous successes, to design devices with the latest technology available, with smaller sizes and, at the same time, competitive pricing. For this reason, I created strategic alliances with companies such as STMicroelectronics and Arrow Electronics to work in advance on the latest and most innovative chips. ● In this period, I was traveling 30% of my time and I created partnerships with STMicroelectronics, Samsung, Lattice Semiconductors and Arrow Electronics.● I opened collaboration with Samsung in Silicon Valley to develop the system ARTIK first as an alpha developer and then creating KITRA product accelerators based on this new technology.

I joined the electronics unit as the HW Leader. During my tenure, this unit was making 30% of the total revenues.● I was responsible for the design, development, and certifications of new energy meters (MID directive) to compete with competitors such as ABB and Schneider Electric.● During my tenure, the business grew and the R&D hired more engineers. The revenues were coming mostly from European markets.

I joined the Itema group as the person assigned to develop the electronics R&D unit for Fimtextile (Textile industry). The strategy was to develop in-house innovative solutions and to strengthen the company’s know-how. ● I was responsible to develop the unit from scratch.● In addition to the point above, I was also responsible for the end-to-end cycle of the machines produced by the company. This included technical design, quality control, and technical sales support.● I proposed several innovations, including: a. Shift from magnets to Steppers motors to increase the reliability b. Develop the STAITF device to allow any loom to communicate with Fitextile machines. c. Develop (and patent) new fabric quality control systems. d. Develop the UNIFIM electronic board the universal central unit for all the Fimtextile machines that was 80% smaller, and much cheaper than what the old ones saving 75% of costs related to the electronics and electrical interface. ● As I was also supporting sales reps from the technical side, I met and supported clients in Europe, China, and Japan (business trips up to 25%).

I joined STMicroelectronics (dept. Audio and Automotive division) in July 2000 to develop my thesis. After that, I got hired in the same unit. ● I was responsible for the implementation of pre-silicon validation techniques through mapping on FPGA.● I was also accountable for the software development (assembler and C) for post-silicon validation on test platforms and emulation.● My unit’s main clients were: Visteon, Magneti Marelli, and Chrysler.
