Responsibilities:• Responsible for overall management and administration of income tax function, including external financial reporting for accounting for income taxes as well as coordination and completion of federal and state income tax returns.• Align income tax function goals with organization’s governance and strategic objectives.• Accountable for managing all activities regarding tax research and planning that are required of the organization in order to optimize tax obligations.• Monitor and analyze tax legislative, judicial and regulatory developments to evaluate the financial and operational impact on the organization.• Perform due diligence and general tax planning related to acquisitions.• Manage tax risk profile and required reserve for uncertain state income tax positions.• Ensure appropriate internal controls are in place when accounting for income taxes and return preparation.• Manage audits conducted by tax authorities, review and evaluate audit results and prepare protests to positions taken by tax authority.• Responsible for business valuation and pro forma modeling on basis of financial analysis and due diligence.• Responsible for organization SEC financial reporting.

Extensive experience in the review of FAS 109 reporting requirements of various corporate clients.
