- Document, implement, and supervise departmental processes.- Implement and monitor detective, corrective, and preventive controls.- Interface directly with the Portfolio Manager to process client investment requests.- Verify prior day’s cash balances with custodians, researching and reconciling differences. -Verify and process cash notifications from custodians and clients.- Submit and verify money market requirements for the following day.- Research and resolve holdings differences between PH&N and custodians.- Verify and provide ad hoc detailed transaction, holdings, performance, and attribution reports.- Process trade tickets.- Transition accounts.- Provide quarter-end market values to Corporate Accounting for billing purposes.- Provide reporting for client audit requests.

- Interface daily with fund’s custodian bank, portfolio management and analytics.- Reconcile portfolio cash accounts with prime broker and/or custodian bank.- Reconcile clearing broker futures and options statements- Complete regular investment holdings reconciliations on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis to prime broker, custodian bank.- Complete monthly reconciliation of investment holdings, cash, cash equivalents, forward foreign exchange and accrued expenses to custodian bank.- Research and analyze discrepancies between portfolio records and the fund’s designated prime broker or custodian bank ensuring that discrepancies are communicated to designated contacts and adequately resolved.- Prepare and review performance returns for designated portfolios.- Create accounting reports to meet custom reporting requests.- Assist the team supervisor in establishing operating policies and procedures for the team.- Verify accuracy of daily reporting from fellow portfolio administrators.

- Maintain the books and records of multiple designated HSBC Canada mutual funds, including calculation of daily NAV and distribution factors.- Prepare monthly financial statements.- Ensure accurate fund records through reconciliation's and reporting. - Balance and reconcile cash with custodian. - Communicate cash position to the investment advisor. - Process, balance and reconcile shareholder activity with the transfer agent.
