Christian's leadership in the Financial Technology industry spans 20+ years. Christian began her career at Fifth Third Bank Securities in 2000, overlooking the heart of Cincinnati, OH – Fountain Square. The stock market downturn of 2002 landed Christian in merchant acquiring, where she developed a passion for payments. While navigating, Vantiv’s spin off from Fifth Third Bank in 2009, Christian successfully developed a Relationship Management Associate Team, improving tactical support for merchants, empowering account managers and increasing revenue. In 2012, Christian found her niche in Enterprise Relationship Management, focused on strategy and sales for Worldpay's top 100 merchants. In 2021, Christian joined Visa as Senior Director of Technology Partner Success, leveraging her payments advocacy for small, mid-market and large-enterprise businesses to enable Technology Partners, so they are more effective participants in the complex payment's ecosystem. She leads a team that works closely with legacy Technology Partners that have powered transactions for traditional payments participants for decades. As well as new, disruptive Technology Partners that are accelerating the pace of business, while crumbling hierarchies and processes of the past, creating win-win opportunities for everyone, everywhere. In honor of the opportunities and experiences afforded to her throughout her career, Christian gives back. Currently, she is co-founder of Visa’s Black Employee Group ViBE (Atlanta chapter). ViBE’s mission is to attract, retain and develop Black talent by creating a platform that models and cultivates Black excellence and ally ship. Last but not least, she's a Leadership Coach for Visa x Braven X Spelman College, teaching college students how to accelerate their careers upon graduation.
