Managing Partner
CurrentFor over 14 years, I have litigated and helped resolve numerous cases throughout the Federal and State courts of Florida. I have also handled several arbitrations. I am also licensed to practice law in Texas and New York. Some recent disputes and litigation I have been involved in include:- Successfully representing a subcontractor in a breach of contract claim for nonpayment against a large contractor represented by an AMLaw 100 firm, and obtaining payment of 100% of the balance owed.- Successfully representing a former C.E.O. of a company who was constructively and improperly discharged in obtaining nearly 100% of the severance and other payments owed under the employment contract. The company originally refused to honor the contract and was represented by an AmLaw 200 firm. - Filing a lawsuit against two companies for breach of contracts for failing to pay millions for services rendered by investor relations managers. The companies are represented by an AmLaw 200 law firm. - Representing a former manager of a company, who is also a shareholder of the company, against his former employer for failing to honor a stock purchase agreement. - Filing a federal lawsuit for a former C.E.O. whose former employer and its subsidiaries breached a termination agreement by failing to pay several millions of dollars in vested stock appreciation rights payments, bonuses, and other severance.- Filing a lawsuit against a warehouse company and manufacturer for their negligence and breach of contract which resulted in the theft of electronics belonging to our client, causing our client six-figure losses in costs of goods and lost profits.- Defending a group of physicians in a non-compete litigation brought by their former employer.
