As a Toronto native, I grew up watching the city around me grow and change at an incredible rate. I was always fascinated with the way we designed and planned (or failed to plan properly, in some cases) for such rapid growth, and I knew by the time I was in high school that I wanted to be involved in shaping our built environment. After graduating from civil engineering at McGill University, my good fortune brought me to Chicago to work for ARCO/Murray, an innovative design-build general contractor whose repeat clients had been dragging them north of the border for some years. ARCO wanted to establish a permanent presence in Canada, and I'm excited to be leading that effort from Toronto.ARCO's turnkey design-build delivery model ensures an early transfer of risk from project owner to contractor, reducing change orders and all-around headaches. We have the ability to quickly provide conceptual designs and firm pricing before you've spent a penny, so you know what you're getting into.
