I teach both online and on campus courses. Currently, I teach mutiple sections of Composition II (online and on campus), Composition I, and Group Dynamics. These are all General Education courses for students enrolled in a technical education program.

I taught two composition classes. Essentially, the courses were designed to teach students how to write at the college level. I covered topics including putting together an effective argument, proper research, documentation of sources, and overall writing proficiency.

I taught both Composition I and Developmental Composition courses. The Comp I course was designed to introduce students to various types of writing they would be doing at the college level. In the Developmental Comp class, I was tasked with helping students to reach a level of proficiency in their writing that would give them a chance to pass Comp I. Students in those course needed more assistance with writing basics including grammar, structure, and supporting a main point.

I was a contract instructor. During the time I was there, I helped design and develop an online MS Outlook class. The course was delivered via online instruction to over 1,000 students during a three week period. I personally instructed two classes per day over this time frame, teaching over 600 students.

I handled the majority of the corporate writing duties for the company, including press releases, blog postings, direct email marketing, forum posts, Twitter, and Facebook. I was responsible for increasing inbound links to our website/blog, SEO, and developing and documenting all procedures for producing written content.

I was the Professional Writing Tutor in the college Learning Center. I tutored students on all forms of writing, held workshops, conducted class visits, gave tours of the Learning Center, and was responsible for producing guides and handouts for various forms of writing.I was also a part time instructor, teaching English classes.

Taught Academic Writing classes as Adjunct Instructor.

Taught 10th, 11th, and 12th grade English classes.

I taught Composition and Literature & Composition courses. These were first year courses, designed to introduce students to college level writing.

I taught English to 10th and 12th graders. The courses coverd American and World literature, with an emphasis on writing. Each course required ten essays per year, with 30-36 students per class. I was responsible for guiding students through the essay process from beginning to end, and evaluating (grading) all student writing.

I was, generally, the closing manager on duty and was responsible for all managerial duties. These included (but were not limited to) cashing out customers, restocking shelves, managing employees, reconciling cash drawrers, tracking sales figures, making bank deposits, and maintaining superior customer service.
