Back end engineer/architect & a bit of front end if needed

Working in Ruby on Rails, Java Script, Python, HTML, and CSS. I have already learned so much and i don't plan to slow down anytime soon. This job has come as a blessing to me and I plan to make a point not to squander my opportunity with such a prominent start up company.

I enjoyed my experience at Office Max (owned by Office Depot) very much. In my time there I learned many things and took not that its very important to always have a good attitude toward anything and everything you do. I have always upheld this view in life however while working at Office Depot I've proven to myself that a positive attitude about things can make everything much better. A handful of coworkers did not have the best of attitudes and were at one another's throats at almost all times. I noticed that some customers could actually sense the hostility in the air and found that i should not become tied up in any drama or feuding at work. I preformed all forms of tasks from cashiering to selling on the floor to even the heavy lifting and freight. I can honestly say that this experience in my life has changed many views for me for the better.

I needed a part temp job that I could both improve my skills on technology and my communication skills with other people. I chose Best Buy because it's the best of both worlds, I was able to befriend many people who i worked with that were already in college and learn a lot about computer hardware. Furthermore, being a cashier at a store as busy as Best Buy requires patients, understanding, and a good attitude. I had all three but what i was looking to further develop was my people skills in general. I loved being around people but i only liked around certain types of people. My reason for taking this job was to pop my proverbial bubble and find the good in all forms of people. Without a doubt I can say it worked. Unfortunately for me I was so busy with soccer and school work that i wasn't able to hold down the hours Best Buy was looking for. After my temporary job was complete i was informed that if i could commit more hours to Best Buy then i could come on as a part time employee. However, I have been a very big fan of soccer for a long time and being a Senior in Highschool i wasn't willing to give that up.
