- Responsible for developing and monitoring business plans with independent agents- Analyze rate, product and underwriting changes- Assist in the development of rollover opportunities - Responsible for attainment of production, loss ratio, agency appointments, commissions and agency growth- Assist in the analysis of the industry, consumer and competitor information and trends- Manage a staff of 34 loss control and home care associates Duties include performance management, salary planning and administration, training and development, workflow and organizational planning, hiring and placement and disciplinary actions- Recommend loss reduction and prevention programs based on loss data and trend analysis- Partner with claims, underwriting, product and sales departments to capture data needed for risk selection and pricing- Construct departmental budgets including forecasting, staffing, salary budget expense, travel expense, training and equipment needs

- Provide clients with risk management and loss control services pertaining to all lines of insurance coverage- Analyze client loss experience to determine trends and provide recommended control measures- Provide clients with training and education on OSHA compliance, written programs and record keeping

- Responsible for safety and health during the construction of various power plants in locations such as DePere, WI; Agawam, MA; Bartow, FL and Hayden, CO- Two sites were designated as OSHA Voluntary Protection Program Star sites for safety and health excellence- Conducted worksite inspections, various safety and health training, accident investigations, respirator fit testing, air monitoring, noise level surveys, MSDS administration and substance abuse testing- Accountable for safety and health program development, workers' compensation administration, injury management, property loss control and security
