As General Manager, Group Corporate Affairs, I am responsible for the development and implementation of Fletcher Building’s internal and external communications strategies, working across the Group’s more than 30 different business units in Australia and New Zealand. Leading a dynamic corporate affairs team, I oversee all aspects of external and internal communications including public/media relations, financial communications, government affairs, issues management, stakeholder engagement and digital channels.Fletcher Building is major ASX/NZX listed company with more than 15,000 employees. It is a significant manufacturer, retailer, home builder and partner on major construction and infrastructure projects. Spanning the full value chain, it operates diversified businesses across New Zealand and Australia, from resource extraction, product manufacturing and distribution through to property development and major infrastructure construction.

Tasked with creating, delivering and measuring a focused, compelling narrative around the bank’s reputation drivers, including -- performance, strategy and thought leadership. In 2017, ASB was named as one of the top three corporate reputations in New Zealand by the AMR Corporate Reputation Index. This was the first time any bank had placed so highly in the study.
