The Data Compute Infra team owns all of Robinhood's data infrastructure for batch data processing. Responsibilities included:- Spark/Hadoop clusters, including auto-scaling, fail-over, and security- Data Apache Airflow across Kubernetes and virtual machines- PySpark framework for writing and running Spark jobs- Hive metastore- Trino clusters, including security and load balancing via a query gateway- Anonymization of personal data- Apache Pinot for real-time analytics

The mission of the Data Platform is to empower users across Coinbase to realize value from its data.
