I've been working within the Architectural Specification Lighting & OEM market since 1996, in varied roles from technical, marketing, field sales, area management, operational board member, and then onto building my own successful business where I found & negotiated contracts that gave Vista Light exclusive rights to resell numerous European luminaire brands throughout UK & Ireland.During this time with Vista Light I worked on many notable projects where I designed & manufactured key luminaires that were part of a broad range of projects including RIBA Stirling Prize projects, 7ft tall light bulbs & even lighting the Big Brother House.In 2015 I started & built up Daisalux in the UK to be a successful architectural emergency lighting company, I secured numerous roll-out projects with blue-chip banks & retailers, also including iconic architectural projects.in 2019 I sold his shares back to Daisalux SA and carried on my journey within the emergency lighting market with Clevertronics another brand that's pushing the technology boundaries & constantly innovating, where I negotiated & secured framework agreements with the UK's largest FM company & Supermarket chain.I joined Lux Box with the responsibility of driving the business forward, increasing the client base & re-establishing & building on existing customers. I undertook a full commercial & strategic review of the business, looking at where the business stood within the Emergency Lighting Component OEM market, life cycle of all products, new price list & commercial approach. I've increased profits across all aspects of the business & turnover. Increasing brand awareness, and company perception within the industry & developing a new website, direct marketing & CRM system, I built staff morale back up & rebuilt relationships with members of staff across the group of companies. All of this was accomplished within the first 9 months of being with the business.As I left Lux Box I had doubled turnover & left them with strong foundations for continuing growth. I joined AWEX to establish the business within the UK & Ireland, with full commercial autonomy & P&L control.
