Christian Raymer is a respected leader in crisis care with over 15 years of background in emergency services, crisis support, and non-profit leadership. As the Chief Programs & Development Officer at Crisis Support Services of Nevada, he oversees Nevada's only crisis contact center which houses over 10 subject-specific and community crisis hotlines including Nevada's 988 & Suicide Crisis Lifeline — providing call, text, and chat services to Nevadans. CSSNV currently handles nearly 5,000 incoming interactions a month and has increased its ability to handle interactions by nearly 200% under Christian’s leadership. Additionally, he oversees Northern Nevada's community-based victim advocacy program which provides 24/7 in-person advocacy to survivors of sexual violence during and after the forensic examination process. Aside from crisis care — Christian has a passion for training and first responder wellness — successfully training over 3,000 Southern Nevada first responders in emotional first aid and peer support. Christian certifications in Critical Incident Stress Management, Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training, and Psychological First Aid, combined with his experience coordinating victim services for high-profile incidents, position him as an expert in the field.
