For the past 25 years, I have been actively involved in the advanced electronics industry through various management roles. I am currently the CEO of ACTIA Nordic AB and ACTIA EMS Sweden AB, At ACTIA Nordic AB we develop connectivity solutions to sectors ranging from the automotive industry, off highway machinery, bikes and medical sector. At ACTIA EMS Sweden AB we manufacture electronics for a large number of well known companies. I grew up in an engineering environment so it seemed natural that I picked up engineering. I built many electronic devices, for example a guitar amplifier when I was 13 years old. When I was 15, I made a TV signal jammer and disturbed the TV viewing for my neighbors. I got a scholarship to study electronics and then got into NOKIA as an electronics engineer. I was then asked to join the sales team in NOKIA. Since then, I have been working in business development roles. I have negotiated and won large contracts with some of the main OEMs such as Volvo Cars, GM, FORD, AUDI, VW, Porsche, BMW, Renault, Jaguar / LandRover and many more. Using my decades of experience, I have led companies from start up to strong growth and to become market leaders in their sectors. I founded the ACTIA tech center in Mjärdevi Science Park an operation that started with only 12 engineers and we are now close to 200 engineers and continuing to grow. Just before this, I was at Autoliv Electronics (now Veoneer) where I was re-hired for the third time. This to grow the Ford account, Ford at this time consisted of Volvo Cars, Jaguar, LandRover and Aston Martin. I prepared and launched the 100 million USD plan. After only four years me and my sales team delivered this result to a pleased management. Prior to this assignment I was head hunted to grow sales in the startup NIRA Dynamics. We grew the company and actually sold of NIRA Dynamics to AUDI, I was very involved in the sales process and negotiations. I believe there are two essential qualities that have made me achieve this level of success; firstly, to never give up, no matter how hard the challenge and how tough the odds. I can even thrive in chaos. Where others see a giant wave about to crash, I see an opportunity to surf. Secondly is the ability to trust and have faith in people. I firmly believe that as a manager I cannot expect my team to put trust in me if I am not putting trust in them. I don't just see where people are but where they are heading. This is what distinguishes me and the companies I represent from the competition.
