Harnessing technology and new ideas to improve relationships between pets and their owners is the focus of my career. In Act One, I designed software solutions with databases and data visualization to solve problems. During intermission, I took a year off to backpack around the world and along the way met a shaman in the Peruvian rainforest who told me I was a healer. At the time I laughed, but later returned home and started a path that would lead to my earning a DVM from Colorado State University. In Act Two, I'm integrating my veterinary and technology skills to help Modern Animal improve the veterinary care delivery experience for all the participants - the pet, the client, and the veterinarian.
