While continuing to perform the tasks of my previous role and work, I'm now also responsible for managing a team of project managers tasked with supporting the State of Michigan through Lean Process Improvement (LPI) initiatives, NEOGOV product offering implementations and training, and Cornerstone learning management software while serving as the liason between the customer and the vendor.

Project Manager responsible for the implementation and management of NEOGOV Perform for the SOM. This includes decisions regarding system functionality; the SOM’s configuration of the system; working with all State Departments and their Human Resources Offices for specialized decisions/configuration; interpretation and application of CSC rules and regulations; facilitating manager and Human Resources staff trainings; creating system documentation and training materials, and serving as a liaison between contractors, IT resources, and NEOGOV staff to develop and maintain an Application Programming Interface (API) between NEOGOV and the SOM Human Resources Information System (HRIS).  Numerous presentations for executive leadership statewide.Implementation project team member for NEOGOV eForms and the Unified Dashboard.   This includes decisions regarding system functionality; the SOM’s configuration of the system; working with all State Departments and their Human Resources Offices for specialized decisions/configuration; and creating system documentation and training materials.  Provide numerous presentations to executive leadership.  Continue to serve as a liaison to IT staff and NEOGOV for ongoing system decisions, development, and enhancements.

Served as a project team member for the Re-engineering of Classification and Selection Systems (ROCSS).  Through As-Is and To-Be process documentation and development, established 3 new statewide systems, including:  Position Action Request Information System (PARIS), Job Specification System Information (JSSI), and Recoding.  Each of these systems also includes integration with the SOM HRIS.Served as the project manager, coordinating, and managing the move of the position and source files from paper to electronic document management systems (IRMA and then FileNet).  Served as a liaison between the work area, IT resources and contractors.  As-Is and To-Be processes were evaluated and determined.  Facilitated training to end users.  Classification and selection work for assigned agencies.  This included reviewing submitted establishment and reclassification requests, making determinations based on application on rules and regulations, on-site desk audits, decision write-ups, technical appeal response write-ups, applying job specification education and experience criteria to credential reviews of candidates for vacancies, and presentations before the internal Specialist Committee and executive leadership.

Organized, coordinated, and produced conferences for high school students interested in a medical career. Offered 82 competitive events, ranging from skill-based to leadership and team-based. Performed school visits, presenting to students and administrators the program’s opportunities.

Various branch responsibilities to learn the aspects necessary to move into management. Opened new accounts, reviewed and processed loan applications, marketed Fifth Third Bank accounts and opportunities to area businesses.
