Doctoral Degree Assistantship-Investigated the long-period transition period parameter, TL, and proposed alternative method to calculate it (search for article by Assadollahi, Pezeshk, and Campbell (2023) in Earthquake Spectra)-Solved inversion problem to estimate seismological parameters in the Central and Eastern USMaster's Degree Assistantship-Primarily working on a project funded by the West Tennessee Seismic Safety Commission (WTSSC)-Responsible for completing 50 site visits to West TN school campuses and completing a Rapid Visual Screening assessment as developed by the Applied Technology Council (ATC) for the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), then inputting similar data into an open-source software called Hazus-MH 4.2 (short for "Hazard United States- Multi-Hazard"). - This project helps distinguish between which school buildings are more in need of a retro-fit versus which school buildings would work as a mass shelter following an earthquake event.
