As Senior Director of Sustainability for CarbonCure Technologies, Christie Gamble drives CarbonCure's mission to reduce 500 megatons of annual carbon emissions from the cement and concrete industry. CarbonCure manufactures a technology that enables concrete providers to utilize post-industrial carbon dioxide in their manufacturing processes in order to achieve significant embodied carbon reductions without compromising concrete quality. In her role, Christie collaborates closely with designers and builders who seek to reduce the carbon impact of their building and infrastructure projects. Through Christie's efforts, millions of cubic yards of concrete made with CarbonCure have been poured on notable buildings including Amazon's Arlington Headquarters, General Motor's Cadillac Lyrac plant, Calgary International Airport De-Icing Facility, Indianapolis Airport Pavement, MGM National Harbor in DC, Compass Datacenters, Google Datacenters, Facebook Datacenters, 15 Amazon Fulfilment or Sort Centers, and 300 North Michigan Ave (a 47-storey skyscraper) - plus thousands of residential, commercial and infrastructure projects across the globe. Christie is a passionate advocate of diversity, equity and inclusion in the workforce and gives her best effort toward facilitating a culture of compassion, integrity, high-performance, trust, sustainability and respect. She's also known for providing comedic relief on frequent occasions.

As CarbonCure gained traction and expanded its portfolio, Christie's role continuously evolved to fit the needs of the business. When CarbonCure prepared to launch its ready mix technology, Christie returned early from a maternity leave to develop the sales messaging and create a go-to-market launch strategy. CarbonCure Ready Mix Technology was successfully launched in September 2015, and Christie significantly supported the development of CarbonCure's first cohort of concrete producer partners. As CarbonCure's concrete partners began to utilize CarbonCure's CO2-mineralization technology to reduce the carbon footprint of their concrete, Christie recognized the challenges customers faced to incorporate CarbonCure's solution into their sales and marketing operations, and so she created the CarbonCure Market Development program. In this program, Christie created training programs to support customer's sales and marketing efforts, and hit the pavement in dozens of cities across Canada and the United States, collaborating with CarbonCure's concrete producers to build awareness about CarbonCure's solutions to local markets. In 2018, Christie secured a feature segment on CNN business; she then produced and starred in the video alongside concrete producer customer Thomas Concrete. The video received over 1 million views and accelerated CarbonCure's growth.

As CarbonCure's first pre-commercial business development hire, Christie played a key role in creating, developing and evolving CarbonCure's messaging, marketing and communications programs from the ground up. In CarbonCure's early days, Christie relentlessly spread awareness about the importance of reducing embodied carbon in concrete among architects, engineers and contractors and successfully created demand for CarbonCure's reduced carbon concrete products.
