I was responsible for the assessment of the organization’s effectiveness in budgeting, planning and implementing federally funded programs. The state’s federal WIA annual funding was dependent upon my accurate assessment, reporting of statistical data and insuring the state met performance standards. I developed and trained individuals on the new federally mandated data validation processes. As the WIA Performance Analyst, I had to be acutely aware and able to identify anomalies in data, laws, regulations, economic conditions and other environmental factors affecting performance outcomes.
