I take a whole person approach to Sports and Occupational Injuries. Aiming to get people back to what they love as quickly but safely as possible. I treat with a hands on approach using Be Activated Therapy, a muscle activation process and philosophy that connects the neural pathways of the brain to the muscles and the breath. In order to survive the body will do whatever it can to keep us moving and breathing, but what if we can return it to it's optimal breath and movement patterns, not compensations that cause injury pain and discomfort. Belly breathing is a massive part of my work in clinic or through yoga and breathwork/meditation classes. I also hold energy healing clinics for Reiki with Salt Water Studios in Worthing. Alternatives always given in this classic/matwork based Pilates class.I have experience working with back/neck pain patients and post op rehabilitative care and can incorporate this into class/group work also.
