Let's face it, 2020 wasn't a great time to be looking for work. So I took some time to get fit, focus on some hobbies, and avoid the urge to start making my own sourdough. On a professional level, I used the time to create a portfolio (christilsed.com), and take online courses on digital marketing, analytics and SEO. Through Furlonteer.com, I also volunteered some time to advise a travel startup on their marketing strategy.

Responsible for Bookatable's social media strategy and brand advertising, working on all marketing channels to grow brand awareness both in the UK and across Europe. I also assisted with content writing and social media management for the Michelin Guide Great Britain & Ireland.In my time at Bookatable I built all social media strategy documents, processes, and reporting systems, and introduced new tools and creative campaigns.I also:- Implemented a new video strategy, with Facebook video views +79% YOY in 2019- Launched the Instagram Takeover series, supporting over 100 restaurants- Helped grow unaided brand awareness from 8-15% in 2019- Devised a new competition format, collecting 15k email addresses in 2019
