I have my roots in the wind energy industry and since 1998 I have been working initially as specialist but since 2002 as leader within technology development, product management, operations and asset management and R&D at wind turbine OEMs and wind power developer/owner in global companies. I have had numerous advisory board positions supplemented by professional board of director, BoD positions since 2012.In this phase of my working life, I am looking at adding value as board of director member to several companies within the renewables sector or as advisor on specific projects or assignments of strategic nature in my one-woman company Aabo Energy.Board competencies and experience:• BoD member experience since 2012 in production and service companies• Mainly private equity owned medium size companies from initial acquisition to sales• Majority shareholder owned medium size company experience too• Experience with establishing manufacturing set-up in low-cost countries and global salesAs a board member I am a curious and engaged sparring partner to the rest of the board and the managing director(s) in developing the company. Finding the right balance between analysing the business options, defining the strategy and ensuring efficient execution is key in the board role for me and I tend to have my focus on market/competitors, development of new offerings and tuning the organisation and competences to deliver the strategy.
