    In my first full year with this company, I obtained the General Motors Mark Of Excellence Award as a sales professional. Within a year and a half I was given the opportunity to join the Internet sales department, and we took our closing ratios from 8-9% to 18% within a few months.We experienced consistent growth as a team, and within 3 months of the internet position I was offered and opportunity to become a finance assistant while maintaining the internet department. A few short months after accepting the position as the finance assistant, I was offered an opportunity to become a finance manager. As a finance manager, I maintain consistent per copy averages that met and exceeded the goals set forth while mainataining relationships with banks and guests of the facility. I obtained an understanding of Federal and State laws, and maintained regulations for compliance. We kept clean paperwork so that funding was rarely a concern.I trained the sales team on the primary steps of a sale, and appropriate "seed planting" for each step of the way, to allow a better understanding of how to close the sale, and how to understand the buyer you have before you. I created and implemented service department rentention tools and trained service team members on informing qualified customers of there opportunity to invest in a protection plan for their vehicle. I also created and implemented follow-up communications from the director to guests who have purchased vehicles so that we could keep the lines of communication open. We kept the standards of communication high throughout every department, and we all worked as a team to accomplish goals for the benefit of the organization and its guests. Our finance departments average per copy increased and stabilized to maintain the new standards we set. In addition to that, our surveys increased to exceed national and regional goals.

    In my first full year as a sales professional I was ranked number 17 in the company for most profit dollars, number 2 in the company for protection plan penetration percentage. I obtained a place in the president's club and became a peer leader. Together, our team took an under-performing store (bottom 2 in the region) and transformed it into one of the top three to five in the region on a consistent basis. Our closing ratios consistently increased, and by the end of the year we were number three in the region. After accepting the transition into management , I controlled profits and losses, maintained appropriate scheduling, trained and empowered both the sales and management force, managed inventory control, merchandised floors, overcame objections, monitored delivery and installation teams, assisted in grand openings of new stores and implemented the company policies for stores throughout the region. Our goals were to collectively exceed customer expectations, and we did. In my time there, this company went live and became a household name for appliances and electronics. We managed merchandising, branding, and the internal customer. We build a team atmosphere, and together we succeeded.
