CurrentAs a means of expanding Brigadoon's impact in 2024, we are aiming to provide an in-hospital program that helps bring the spirit of camp to children whose medical conditions may be more complex than the resources available at camp. However, we believe all children should experience the magic of camp which is why we're developing an in-hospital program. During my time at Brigadoon Village, I have been taking a deep dive into the existing literature to help synthesize relevant information to ensure a high quality of care. As a means of getting this program up and running I will be developing a comprehensive program plan that incorporates a detailed plan on how the program will operate. Just like summer camp, the in-hospital program will provide a person-centred approach to care that emphasizes the importance of what our participants can do. The in-hospital program will incorporate meaningful recreation, tailored to the needs of our participants.
