I receive and respond to inquiries related to insurance matters. Interacts with customers, agents, and others to resolve moderately complex issues regarding policy provisions and conditions. Evaluates and interprets policy information within prescribed authority limits.

Load/Unload mail and/or packages, I also performed other duties incidental to the movement and processing of mail. Other job duties included loading, lifting and carrying moderate to heavy mail from trucks and sorting equipment, rewrapping damaged parcels and weighing mail, separating outgoing bulk mail and load onto mail trucks for distribution and carrying mail to distribution area.

I contributed to Social Security through telephone service to the public. Also, I obtained information to decide eligibility and entitlement to programs administered by SSA and use ultramodern technology to access and update information about claims for benefits and other SSA services. My duties include answering general and technical questions and providing information about SSA programs, aiding with completing forms, researching and analyzing benefit payment issues, and starting contact with customers to obtain or clarify information. Responsible for the mentoring and training of new hires.
