In my new role, I continue to support the Progeny Systems business area as well as a larger engineering group. I provide senior leaders and management teams HR expertise to impact business strategy as it relates to human capital, talent development, employee engagement and change management.

In my role as the HR Director for Progeny Systems, I was responsible for all areas of HR including compliance, total rewards, employee development, change management, and talent acquisition. Lead the HR due diligence efforts for the Progeny acquisition by GDMS. Successfully integrated Progeny Systems with GDMS. Lead the company through the global pandemic, created a career development program, and successfully completed multiple DCAA and OFCCP audits.

As the Corporate Compensation Manager and Affirmative Action officer, I develop and administer the compensation policies, programs, and practices of the organization. We seek to attract and retain a highly qualified workforce of executives, managers, professionals, and support staff. In my current role, I am responsible for the annual participation in and purchase of industry salary surveys to ensure market competitiveness in our salary structure. I work closely with managers and contracts administrators to assist in labor category mapping for proposal efforts. I ensure that all of the human resources policies for the company are up-to-date and compliant with laws and regulations that apply to the government contracting industry. I developed and maintain a database that contains over 600 job descriptions and write new job descriptions as needed. I am responsible for the company's affirmative action plans and respond to OFCCP, EEOC, and DCAA audits and requests as required.

I provided Human Resources Management for two busines units with over 430 employees across multiple geographic locations. I worked with managers toward successful resolution of employee relations issues to include conflict resolution and performance management, while ensuring compliance with corporate policies and personnel laws. I provided HR support to over 20 employees working on European international assignments, including special compensation of salary and benefits and all documentation pertinent to each overseas location. I worked with a selected team of HR professionals to create and implement a major career tracking project. I was resopnsible for the data collection for the company's 17 affirmative action plans and assisted the Compensation Manager in responding to OFCCP audits.

Benefits responsibilities included managing the open enrollment process, handling of employee inquiries and resolution of claim issues, COBRA and benefit termination letters. Recruiting responsibilities included writing job descriptions, job postings, working with outside vendors, interviewing and reference checks for non-exempt staff positions. Processed workers compensation claim forms, served as contact for insurance company, provided letters to Washington, DC workers compensation department. Special projects included performance evaluation process, open enrollment fair, and timesheet training. Served as back-up for new employee orientation, timesheet processing, and updates to attendance database.
