Back in my high school recital group, by God's grace, i received piano student of the year award 2 years in a row-- one of the highest music honors. My mom encouraged me to practice and it always worked! I accompanied piano for the vocal students at my college spring semester 2013 for course credit. Then, I helped out a friend at college to organize his intern choir, which performed at the college historical chapel. I also played Celtic harp in the college stringspiration once yearly. My training included Hand Bell class and later after college,solo and duet hand bells, church music class, with my mom. I can teach students this technique too for Solo or Duet Bell ringers! I am also a performer and instructor of piano and Celtic harp. At age 19, i produced my first CD of Celtic, Christmas harp! Interestingly, that same summer, while playing harp downtown, i was featured by a reporter on Scenes from Seven TV and in Link Magazine (which used to be part of Greenville News)! Additional work experience: I was on work scholarship program at my college, where I was a Librarian Assistant over the Music and Nursing Lab and reported directly to my shift supervisor. This was a highly responsible position and a lot of fun as well. I was also a full time librarian assistant summer 2013. I helped the other students with research, online catalog, music CD's, music videos and Nursing Lab DVD's. I later helped to train some new employees. I also helped out one summer in A Beka Book Academic Offices with elementary grading and then scanning documentation into the computer system. Through these experiences, God has guided me to the point I am today and has helped me to never give up no matter what trial I have faced! Positivity is a great aspect of success! Future plans include continuing to be a more experienced studio music instructor and academic tutor! In addition, becoming a part time teacher in an international school in Greenville, SC!!
