I lead VOLUME18’s strategic planning and policy initiatives, leveraging my expertise in strategic communications, public engagement, and intergovernmental relations to create modern, impactful strategies. I have played a key role in developing Building Futures: Holland College’s strategic plan, Building Resilience: PEI’s Climate Adaptation Strategy, and leading consultations on the Confederation Trail. Startup Zone is the PEI Business Incubator. I helped launch the Startup Zone in 2016 and designed the programming for the place that Island business meets, starts, and grows.

Fusion Charlottetown captures the voice and works to engage 20-40 year old in shaping the future of our great city.

Represented Sean Casey Charlottetown Member of Parliament at meetings and events when he is in Ottawa; advised on community development projects and proposals; developed communications plans; media relations; community liaison; work with constituents in Charlottetown and organized and host events and town halls throughout the year. Advise community groups on government engagement strategies.

Discover Charlottetown is the destination marketing organization for the capital city of Prince Edward Island. Discover Charlottetown's mandate is to attract leisure travellers to the dynamic city of Charlottetown through marketing off-Island and working with members to create tourism products and packages.

Represent Sean at community meetings and events when he is in Ottawa; develop communications plans; media relations; community liaison; and work with constituents in Charlottetown. Organize and host fundraising events and town halls throughout the year. Advise community groups on possible government engagement strategies.

Develop health promotion policy as well as active transportation throughout Nova Scotia at the provincial and municipal level. Work on national childhood obesity and stroke strategies. Liaison with provincial ministers and department staff.

As the CPAWS-NS Education Coordinator, I led the CPAWS’ education program across Nova Scotiaand worked closely with Marine and Terrestrial campaigns to advance the conservation mandate of the organization. I established relationships with key partners by engaging stakeholders andcommunities in local and provincial conservation issues. I successfully developed funding proposals that provided the organization with additional capacity to deliver on its mission.

I worked for Shawn Murphy in Charlottetown PEI to connect with local residents through meetings, attending functions and communications. Responsible for working with federal departments such as CRA and CIC on behalf of residents. Held town hall and other community meetings on various topics. Worked with various community groups on development projects in the City of Charlottetown.

Developed and promoted private members bills, briefings on all legislation and managed the Public Accounts Committee. Responsible for correspondence and research projects.

Provided Canadian life skills support for refugee and immigrant families arriving on PEI. I was required to design and implement the program and was responsible for organizing citywide multicultural events and festivals that involved media, entertainment and multiple community organizations.
