School Nurse Immunisation Team Leader
CurrentDevelop, write policy and procedure on immunisation Work in partnership with other agencies Manage delivering of Extended National Flu programme in Schools across primary Schools in Southwark and Lambeth London Manage delivering of school based vaccinations in all secondary Schools in Lambeth and Southwark such as HPV, Td/IPV + Men ACWY, MMR, BCG.Provide immunisation update sessions for Nurses and other professionals Assess immunisation competencies of all nurses and sign their PGD accordingly Provide, collate and analyse immunisation data.Active member of immunisation steering group Act as source of information and provideweekly report for PHEManage group of nurses and support staff to ensure service delivery is of high standard.Encourage staff to reflect on their performance to enhance their revalidation with NMCMonitor and manage staff performance against standard.Ensure all the staff understand and work in accordance to the values and behaviurs framework of the TrustParticipate in clinical audit to improve the service deliveryProvide health promotion in schools and organise parent forum in the communityManage vaccine safety and provide training on handling and storage of vaccines / vaccine fridge audit.Clinical lead on writing and develop PGD for different vaccines
