I have produced powerful stories and events on behalf of PBS Newshour, Frontline, GMA, 20/20, BET, and other major media outlets. I bring strong technical aptitude and clear creative vision to projects on a variety of national and international topics. I am adept at prioritizing multiple workflows, managing stakeholder expectations, maximizing the return on budgetary spending, and leading teams to deliver exemplary work.

I led broadcast production activities and special projects, including an on-the-ground segment in Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria. I also served as the primary subject matter expert on health and medicine stories, particularly those that required complex scientific ideas to be presented in a clear and accessible manner. Throughout my tenure, I designed strategies to increase efficiency, improve journalistic output, and judiciously allocate limited production budgets.

During my years as a freelancer, I pitched, wrote, and produced segments for This Week with George Stephanopoulos, The Lead with Jake Tapper, CNN's State of the Union broadcast, Yahoo News, WNET, Al Jazeera America, and other media outlets. I also expanded my creative capabilities by working on Tina Brown’s “Women in the World” live event. Regardless of platform, I managed all phases and elements of the production process to ensure the highest quality of output. I frequently served as a Weekend Assignment Manager for CNN’s New York Bureau, requiring me to monitor emerging stories, mobilize crews, and pivot to breaking news as needed.

I launched my career at ABC as a production staff member with ABC Newsmagazines, eventually moving into a producer role with Prime Time Live, and a senior producer / head writer position at GMA Weekend Edition. I honed my storytelling skills, leadership capabilities, and technical competencies while working with some of the most renowned names in modern journalism. Throughout my tenure, I traveled the globe to tell thoroughly researched, emotionally resonant stories that centered diverse and marginalized voices.Major projects included stories about North Korea's re-engagement with the West, human rights in Pakistan, the shoot-down of an American Chinook over Fallujah, the changing lives of Afghan women, India's sex trade industry, Mexican mental health institutions, the September 11 terrorist attacks, and the death of Diana, Princess of Wales. I also produced interviews with Bill Clinton, Monica Lewinsky, Colin Powell, and Queen Noor of Jordan.
