Oversee and ensure the quality and effectiveness of sequential, syllabus-based dance and movement programs for youth from preschool through grade 12. Oversee creative movement programming in 50 public school classrooms. Oversee research initiative to assess executive function gains after participation in creative movement. Organize and maximize the community impact of instructional programs that bring artists, student performers and teaching artists into a variety of settings including schools, local community centers, and other venues (reaching approximately 12,000 individuals each year). Spearhead and oversee accessibility and inclusion initiatives including Adaptive Dance, Dance for Parkinson’s and sensory-friendly performances. Develop and format age- appropriate units of study around specific repertory works and artists in coordination with key strategic partners. Monitor the development of a variety of enrichment programs to engage and deepen the patron experience. Facilitate professional development opportunities for educators and advocates. Collaborate with university partners and consultants to research and evaluate educational programming. Create education department budget and track accounts related to arts education programs. Collaborate with marketing team to create promotional material for education programs.

Develop and deliver parent education curriculum to neighborhood parents who have children 0-3 years of age. Implement early childhood programming for parents of preschoolers to assist and guide them as they support their child's development. Support and provide local preschool directors with professional development opportunities though our Early Learning Network. Coordinate and organize Preschool Conference in collaboration with Paterson Public Schools to provide teaching staff with tailored professional development workshops. Assist in the evaluation and analysis of all programming for parents and children under the age of 5. Collaborate with stakeholders in the early learning space.

Plan and organize modern curriculum to foster learning of technique. Develop lesson plans for beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels for children between the ages of 8 and 17. Document achievement of students reporting in a written assessment at the conclusion of the year. Choreograph a final presentation of movement for the year-end performance.

Plan and implement developmentally appropriate creative movement based curriculum focused on play for early head start children and their caregivers. Assess and evaluate quantitative and qualitative research results of program. Utilize unique, creative affordances within each lesson to assist in cognitive and motor development. Promote social interaction between the child and caregiver throughout the organized play portions of each lesson.
