I am a Business Analyst with an IRS Clearance providing hands-on efforts to coordinate and implement the IRS SPM project. This is a government contract making an effort to digitize and digitalize documents to provide a more efficient and accessible system for taxpayers and IRS employees. Part of my role has been to analyze the logistics and steps forward to complete the project with more efficiency and timeliness. I have provided excellent communication and analytical skills in this endeavor, which included creating better processes and writing accurate and understandable reports. These efforts have provided greater understanding and better logistics for our company and for the IRS.I also successfully lead a team to complete a difficult task with a tight deadline implemented by the IRS and the CEO. We were able to complete the project ahead of schedule which pleased those involved.I am also overseeing the integration of the business "QED" into 22nd Century, including performing the scrum master role and project coordinator for the QED team.

This position allowed me to show my business skills as I audited and reconciled employee travel documents; provided customer service to employees and students, prepared reports for audit, and reconciled accounts payable. Another employee and I were assigned to handle the year-end accounting of the accounts payable. However, the other employee quit with no notice and I was able to handle the year-end closing myself. I also worked in the cash management office where I took payments for tuition, discussed and adjusted student accounts, incoming federal financial aid, and I gained experience in Banner 8 & 9 software. I had to leave this job due to our family’s military reassignment to another state, but not before receiving many job offers from other university departments.

I provided no-cost tax preparation services for over 200 people in need of tax preparation services. This was completed on multiple military bases for military personnel or retirees and also for the State of Ohio for all low-income taxpayers who sought out those services. This was a great opportunity to help others who needed help with this civic duty. My services allowed many people to be able to keep their own money while doing something they couldn’t do for themselves.

I was handpicked by my professor based on my demonstrated knowledge and skills to assist in client audit preparation, coordination with local government entities on behalf of clients, and regular administrative duties from the office and remotely. I received high accolades from the IRS for the audit documents I prepared for one of the clients. The IRS needed zero follow-up questions due to my thorough preparation of necessary information.

I completed an internship that involved analyzing “Big Data”. I was able to look for patterns & analyze large amounts of information from various sources in order to see themes in consumer behavior & generate useful reports.

Ensure the Private Organization is adhering to the Bylaws, Constitution and Air Force Instructions established for all private Organizations. I act as a consultant because of my knowledge of the private organization and provide input for most issues that the club faces. I file the taxes, handle the IRS issues, and oversee the elections of new officers.

I organized and scheduled the monthly social activities. I contributed to the Board of Governors as to the policies and procedures as well as represented the organization in their philanthropic endeavors. I participated in fund-raisers and helped recruit new members. I served on the scholarship board and coordinated a scholarship ceremony. I also presented those who won scholarships with recognition at their school.

I oversaw a board of 20 volunteers and 65 members. I worked with fantastic peers who filled their individual rolls within the organization. Together, we revamped the gift shop, which was our biggest source of charitable funds, carried out entertaining and philanthropic activities, and worked together to improve the military base. We gave away thousands of dollars worth of supplies and donations to the less fortunate and to charitable organizations in the community outside the base. We also raised scholarship funds and were able to give away 15 scholarships by raising 170% more funds than the previous year.

At this company, I reconciled investment accounts for 5 multi-million-dollar companies, created error reports, and facilitated conference calls and trainings. These duties were conducted remotely as well as in the office. My clients were happy with my work and I only had to leave it because my husband joined the military and our location and lifestyle changed.

At various Boise, Idaho branches, my focus was on delivering exceptional customer service and utilizing all bank divisions to create effective problem-solving strategies. I completed tasks such as managing the vaults, opening, and closing accounts, maintaining training standards and audit-readiness, and sometimes we had fun too.
