My practice focuses on advising major financial institutions as corporate trustee, loan agent, collateral administrator, custodian and securities intermediary in CLOs and other domestic and cross-border debt offerings. The transactions I handle span the entire lifecycle of a deal, including warehouse facilities, new issuances, refinancings, redemptions, liquidations and discharges. Prior to rejoining Alston & Bird, my practice focused on representing private equity sponsors and private and public company borrowers in secured lending and other financing transactions, including acquisition financings, cross-border financings, subordinated debt facilities, and subscription lines of credit.I currently serve as one of the Co-Chairs of the LCLD 2019 Pathfinder Class. I am an active member of the Junior League of Washington and I have completed over 500 pro bono hours with local and national non-profit organizations. I previously served as a volunteer and mentor for EmpowHERment, a local non-profit aimed at empowering women and at-risk girls in the Charlotte community and the Co-Chair of the Mecklenburg County Bar Charlotte Legal Diversity Clerkship Program. I received my J.D., with honors and pro bono distinction from North Carolina School of Law in 2016, where I was a senior editor of the International Law Journal, served as an Academic Enrichment Leader for first-year students in Property, Torts, Criminal Law and Civil Procedure and was an active participant in the law school’s pro bono program.
