- Worked on Ultra Toric lens project involving validation of the new lens design and the newest production line- Wrote protocols to produce these lenses and trained technicians to the protocols - Analyzed the dimensional and cosmetic data from the lenses using Minitab and Microsoft Excel to improve lens design and aspects of the production line including yield, capability and efficiency- Wrote summary reports following the completion of each protocol which included an analysis of the data, final conclusions and recommendations for future lens design and lens production- Authored many crucial protocols including those that analyzed the new lens design for Ultra Toric lenses and protocols that compared the newest production line to the original- Conducted a five week study and a Gage R&R involving one-on-one work with various technicians using Ultra Toric and SVS lenses to determine a method for reducing the variability in measured lens sag between lenses, SKUs, technicians and machines
