Although this was a huge switch from pharmaceutical marketing and sales, I continue to capitalize on those skills to help brides across the globe access beautiful designer bridalwear.Focusing on the metrics that represent our business success, I designed novel marketing strategies with my team of 12 that shifted our strategies and increased our growth year over year. One major change involved distinguishing and separately promoting the three distinct lines within the company—Maggie Sottero, Sottero and Midgely, and Rebecca Ingram. Then, I branded each of these affordable couture lines separately, which helped them each succeed independently.On the customer side, we created a showroom experience that our customers’ buyers continually praised as being top in the industry. And for the 24/7 market, we built a portal so retailers could order our products online at their convenience. Both of these elevated purchase volume and created customer loyalty.I also led a shift to digital in advertising, and our new Google SEM and influencer strategy outperformed the industry. To maximize our engagement with our end customers, the brides themselves, I initiated a social media strategy focusing on Facebook and Instagram that yielded an average of +1000% global engagement with our ideal market.Finally, as a leader of a sales team of 20, I rebalanced our territories to reflect our brand differentiation and regional needs, which increased our sales in territories up to 60%.
