Utilized early intervention behavior support strategies to assist families with children that have been diagnosed with autism. Using ABA, DTT, PECs, and TEACCH strategies to provide positive support strategies to assist families in their homes. Documented clients progress, created PECs with Boardmaker, and trained parents how to effectively deal with aggressive behaviors, to decrease repetitive behaviors, and showed them how to use different communication tools to increase desired behaviors.

Started a craft business at home. I sell handmade cards, t-shirts, onesies, party decorations/favors online and at local craft shows. Started a network with over 250 craft vendors and regularly share news about upcoming events with them. Helped coordinate a fundraiser craft fair for the Internal Dancers of Balboa Park. Would love to teach people with disabilties craft techniques/skills that they could use to devlop their own line of products and generate an income for themselves and increase their level of independence. Planned and coordinated on and off campus activities for a residential brain injurytreatment center. Residents included military members that had been injured overseas and had brain injuries, artificial limbs, and PTSD.* Created a calendar of events along with a budget for all planned outings. * Created forms to record progress on goals, participation, and shared the information withclinical team. * Developed and taught cognitive awareness classes, exercise classes, art classes, cookingclasses, and gardening classes.

Provided transportation, companionship, and assistance with daily living activities forelderly clients including medication reminders, light house cleaning, and cooking.

I was an RSP teacher at Mission Hills High School and San Marcos High School. I had a caseload of 30 students with learning disabilties. Assisted students at risk of not meeting graduation requirements by providing tutoring services for the CAHSEE (exit exam), Algebra I and Algebra II classes, English classes, and World History classes. Met with families to discuss options when students were failing due to excessive absences, drug related issues, and gang involvement.

I worked with students with a wide variety of developmental disabilities including Autism, Down's syndrome, orthopedic impairments, and other health impairments. Developed data collection tools and procedures to measure progress on student goals. Developed TEACCH activities, utilized Picture Exchange Communication System (PECs), programmed assitive technology Devices (Springboard), created visual schedules with Boardmaker, and developed activities using adaptive equipment to increase student participation and independence. Obtained a $5000 grant to create a school garden, and a $500 grant to develop a school newspaper. Coordinated fundraisers, supervised events, and planned actitivies as a club advisor for Best Buddies.

Executed K-12 lesson plans for teachers that were unavailable to teach. Spring 2005 and Summer 2005 Intersession Teacher for 3-5th grade severely handicapped classroom. Stopped substituting because I was reccommended for a teaching position at the high school and the position was granted to me.

Led reading, math and spelling groups for 3-5th grade students with learningdisabilities.
