Assistant Director For Programming And Education
Current● Work as a collaborative thought-partner with the Director of Programming & Education to develop a strategic vision for programming and education offerings for youth, emerging adult, and adult audiences that spans both virtual and in-person live opportunities.● Develop, manage, and implement education and programmatic opportunities for college age audiences, including developing strategic partnerships with area colleges, universities, and community organizations and creating compelling and innovative programming for young adult audiences.● Collaborate cross-departmentally to develop compelling in-person and multimedia tour and outreach programming for college-age and young adult audiences.● Develop and sustain a wide range of strategic partnerships with organizations and individuals including high schools, universities, community organizations, institutions, educators, artists, museum colleagues, and others.● Develop and manage scholarship offerings for graduating high school seniors, in alignment with the education strategic plan and guidance from key stakeholders● Lead one or more of the education department junior staff, including recruitment, training, mentorship and professional development.● Work with the Director of Programming to establish and adhere to departmental operating budgets and ensure the financial stability of the museum’s educational initiatives.
