Qwest Communications is best known as one of the leading, local phone service providers with nearly 12 million access lines in a 14-state region. Qwest also operates a coast-to-coast fiber optic network, as well as international facilities, that support primarily business and government customers. Qwest also operates a technology resale distributorship for hardware manufacturers like Nortel, CISCO, Adtran, Juniper Networks, Ciena, and others. As Vice President of National Network Services, my focus is on the coast-to-coast network operations as well as the large resale distributorship. This involves leadership of a large, diverse team dedicated to delivering and servicing custom network and equipment solutions through Customer Care Centers and Field Operations functions. I have direct, personal engagement and executive sponsorship of many of Qwest's largest customers. Ruff & Co. offered services including design and reconfiguration, refurbishment, and various facilities management services. They were acquired in April, 2007.As Vice President of Operations, I spearheaded the daily activities and logistics of the operations staff: receiving, warehousing, scheduling, shipping, delivery, repair service, installation and reconfiguration of systems furniture, refurbishment, asset management, and various services.

BKM Total Office of California offered services including design and reconfiguration, refurbishment, and various facilities management services, including rental furniture and move services. They were acquired by Tangram Interiors in 2002.As Vice President of Operations, I steered the Operations Department covering the two-county area (Orange and Los Angeles counties). Functions included: budgeting, project and asset management, job and service pricing and profitability, receiving, warehousing, shipping, delivery, installation, rental sales and operations, and move service sales and operations.

Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company has offices throughout the US. The company is a leading US property/casualty insurer that also provides life insurance and retirement products through its Nationwide Financial Services subsidiary.Corporate Purchasing Division Manager (1991 – 1995). Managed budgets, assets and staff involved with evaluating/acquiring new products and services required for a 27,000-person organization with $65 million annual expenditures. Coordinated projects to improve services/procedures. Negotiated contracts with vendors to improve the delivery of goods and services. Regional Facilities/Office Services Manager (1988 – 1991). Managed building services, including preparing and negotiating leases; telecommunications, disaster recovery; move management; local purchasing; receiving and distribution of forms/supplies; food service; reception; postal and security. Maintained a 72,000 square foot regional office facility, seven field offices, and an off-site warehouse. Responsible for cleaning, HVAC, pest control, utilities, and grounds keeping.
