I am responsible for executing Fifth Ward CRC's tasks for the WORTH grant through the Own the HOU initiative. Those tasks include developing a Non-Predatory Earned Equity Builder (Lease to Own) Program, Young Professional Homeownership Network, and a Youth Financial Literacy program. I am also supporting other Own the HOU partner organizations in their tasks. The WORTH grant is focused on making long-term investments to increase affordable housing in our community. Collectively, our goal is to create 5,000 new homeowners in five years. I also support the administration of the Fifth Ward Redevelopment Authority and grant management for the organization.

Manage cross-functional relationships between private, government, public, non-profit, and technical stakeholders.Project Highlights:Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone 26 (Sunnyside TIRZ) – Responsible for leading a cross-functional team of board members and consultants to achieve the defined goals of the zone. Secured a 600% increase in funding, resulting in $24MM available for Capital Improvement Projects. Responsible for overseeing the procurement process through project completion.• Directed the creation of the Redevelopment Authority, including screening legal counsel and overseeing the creation of the legal entity and tri-party agreement between the City of Houston, TIRZ, and the Redevelopment Authority.• Led communications strategy that increased community engagement by 50% through grassroots efforts.Harris County Improvement District #10 (Sunnyside Management District) – Project lead responsible for activation of management district to work in partnership with the TIRZ.• Identified board members and guided them through the appointment process. Designed the board based on the needs of the district.Allen Hospitality – Facilitated a strategic agreement between the government and the client to assist in securing the funding needed for on-time project execution.Houston Galveston Area Council - Public Engagement and Economic Development consultant for the Old Spanish Trail/Palm Center Livable Centers Study.• Managed stakeholder and public engagement process.• Responsible for budget management and team deployment to ensure timely project completion.Knowles-Rowland House – Led the strategy development to secure funding for new housing development for aging out-of-foster care youth. The project included strategy development for $1MM naming rights of philanthropic theater event space.

Created an organization that empowers women to identify, pursue, and exceed their professional goals through mentorship, education, networking, and business development. Established partnership strategies with both small and large (Fortune 500) companies, as well as local municipalities. Nurture these partner relationships to positively increase social impact, fundraising, sponsorship, and overall annual support. Manage a team of approximately ten women who established team goals andstrategic direction as well as fostered a collaborative culture.
