Provide legal services and counsel to individuals and corporations seeking employment-based immigration opportunities. Counsel, prepare, and file H-1B temporary employment petitions, ETA-9089 permanent labor certifications, I-140 employment-based immigrant petitions, I-485 adjustment of status applications in conjunction with I-131 and I-765 applications for travel and work authorization, and N-600 applications for citizenship. Guide clients through all stages of the PERM application process, including drafting a comprehensive job description, drafting and filing the ETA-9141 application, managing the PERM recruitment process, and utilize strict attention to detail in filing the PERM application. Draft responses to RFEs and PERM Audits. Consistently analyze immigration policy and anticipate outcomes. Guide clients and beneficiaries through expectations for the immigration process to ensure realistic expectations.

Conducted meetings and informational interviews with key immigration officials in Mexico. Interviewed Haitian migrants in Tapachula, Mexico with the goal of analyzing similarities in living conditions, discriminations faced in their travels, and reasons for leaving Haiti. Contributed to the production of a report advocating for a grant of asylum for Haitian migrants. Presented on International Environmental Law and Accountability at our partner law school in Haiti.

Supported global communities negatively impacted by development projects and international finance institutions. Researched details of global projects and harms emitted therefrom to find advocacy targets and strategies to help communities pursue accountability. Created tools and materials to improve dialogue between communities, multilateral investment institutions, and other stakeholders.

Provided direct representation for a client who was successfully granted asylum. Performed hands-on work in both domestic and international aspects of refugee and human rights law while developing the critical advocacy skills of strategizing, research, analysis, and writing. Skills developed including client counseling, interviewing, fact investigation, legal research, country conditions research, declaration drafting, and brief writing.

As an intern with Tetra Tech DPK I work to provide support for proposal development and recruitment efforts for rule of law, access to justice, crime and violence prevention, governmental integrity, and anti-corruption proposals and projects around the world.

While working with Fauquier County Water, I collaborated with leading staff members and the Authority's general counsel in the development of confidential and sensitive documents such as legal resolutions, contractual agreements, and staff memoranda. In this role, I provided support for the County department's Executive Director and Board of Director. In addition, I researched existing legal documents and policies in order to provide suggestions for new policies.

In my role as a Student Administrative Assistant, I managed client and participant correspondence; input data and assisted with complex computer systems; and assisted the registrars in preparing for conferences.

As an Intern with Ecologic Institute, I played a key role in organizing and implementing the international 2015 Arctic Summer College online seminar. During my time here, I analyzed the intersection of environmental issues and policymaking. In addition, I represented the nonprofit while contacting and connecting with leading academics and professionals in various environmental and political fields.
